It seems like a no-brainer that developer Studio MDHR would add online co-op multiplayer to adapt to that. The new DLC, titled The Delicious Last Course, even adds a new playable character to try out. It’s certainly a shame, because a game like Cuphead is tailored to the co-operative experience. As such, if you’re struggling with a tough boss, especially in the new DLC, you’ll have to team up with a friend offline. There is a multiplayer component to the game, but that comes in the form of local co-operative play instead.
